This is expected to improve sustainable forest management through informed decision-making.
The SMART tool has become increasingly important for the Forest Department, playing a vital role in activities ranging from patrolling to collecting evidence of illegal activities.
The SMART Strategic Planning Tool training program that began on March 18 is facilitated by Jampel Lhendup from the Royal Manas National Park and Kinga Norbu from the Forest Management Information Division.
